Ayumu Imazu" will sing the ending theme song for the new drama "Koi wo Toraneru Nidaime Jyudoku Jyudoku" that will start on March 5 (Tuesday) in the MBS/TBS Drama-ism slot (MBS: every Tuesday from 24:59~, TBS: every Tuesday from 25:28~). Based on the popular manga by Keiko Kinoshita, "If You're Going to Fall in Love, It's Better to Fall in Love the Second Time Around" was directed by Yuka Yasukawa and Nao Nomura, and has now been adapted for live-action. A business magazine editor, Akihiro Miyata (Shin Hasegawa), and a successful university associate professor, Takashi Iwanaga (Satoshi Furuya), experienced a love affair and breakup so great that they promised to elope when they were in high school. The film is a love story about their reunion more than a decade later, and follows their "second time" love as the "over 30 (thirty) boys" play games with each other. It is one of the most notable dramas of the year, starring Shin Hasegawa (THE RAMPAGE) as Akihiro Miyata and Satoshi Furuya as Takashi Iwanaga.
The song "BANDAGE," written for the drama, is a dance-rock based song with a soulful aspect in the lyrics and melody, and the rhymes are filled with words expressing the tactics of the main character in the drama. It has become a hybrid song that has attracted a new world line.
The drama "Koi wo Toraneru Ni Dake ga Jyudoku Jyudoku" will air on MBS from 24:59 on March 5 (Tuesday) and on TBS from 25:28 on March 6 (Tuesday), with missed episodes to be available on TVer and MBS Video-ism after the TBS broadcast.
Ayumu Imazu will start a tour "AYUMU IMAZU TOUR 2024 "EYE TO EYE"" in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka in April.
Ayumu Imazu has attracted attention from Japan and other Asian countries with the release of "Obsessed," a song that has been danced to by some of Korea's top idol groups. The next work of Ayumu Imazu will be a song he wrote for the ED theme song of the drama "Koi ni naran ni wa nidaime ga jyosoku.
Ayumu Imazu Comment
I am very happy to have been chosen as the ED theme song for the TV drama "Koi wo Koran Suru Ni Dame Jyudoku Jyudoku" (If you fall in love, the second time is better)!
This song is based on the theme of "bandages" and the experience that "the longer you delay removing the bandage, the more painful it is when you remove it."
I wrote this song with the message, "I want to convey what I want to say and how I feel right away!
I hope that "BANDAGE" will be a song that highlights the world of the drama even more!
