Rira Ikuta, a singer-songwriter and vocal ikura of YOASOBI, a unit that turns novels into music, will release a new CD on April 17, 2024, titled "Ikuta Rira feat. ano "Seishun Ukaoka"" will be released on Wednesday, April 17, 2024!

This song is the theme song for the second chapter of the movie "Dead Dead Demons: Dedede Destruction," which will be released in theaters nationwide on March 22 (Friday) and April 19 (Friday). Rirato Ano Ikuta, who voices the main characters Kozan Monde and Nakagawa Phuoran, a.k.a. "Ontan" in the film, has joined forces to produce the theme songs for the first and second chapters of the film. Rira Ikuta wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the second chapter theme song, "Seishun Ukaoka," and Ano is a featured singer.
The jacket photo released today features a 7-inch paper jacket with a new illustration by Inio Asano, the original author of "Dead Dead Demons: Dedede Destruction". In addition to the title song, "Seishun Ukaoka", the CD also includes the radio program "Seishun! Manga artist Inio Asano continues to produce numerous hits, including his masterpiece "SOLANIN," which was made into a live-action movie, "Oyasumi Pumppun," which has sold over 3 million copies, and "MUJINA INTO THE DEEP," which is currently serialized in "Big Comic Superior". I have written a song called "Seishun Houka" as the theme song for the latter part of the film.
When I finished reading "Dedede," I couldn't help but love Kadoide and Ontan's silly and messy daily life so much that I wanted to write a song in which I could hear their conversation.
No matter what the future brings, no matter what happens, the two of them are "absolutely" sure to hold on to everything and keep their youth stirring. The song was completed with such a wish and filled with a lot of playfulness.
I think it is because we lived as Kadoide and Ontan in the movie that we were able to sing this song.
We hope you will enjoy Dedede together with the music in the first and second chapters.

In a world where the everyday life we take for granted can be transformed in an instant, I created this film while thinking about what I want to cherish and protect.
