Muscle Shoujo Band major debut 35th anniversary & "Reticle Za Mousou" 30th anniversary release!
Muscle Shoujo Band has announced that it will release a new album (CD + DVD) to commemorate the 35th anniversary of its major label debut and the 30th anniversary of the release of its ninth album, "Reticle Za Mousou" (April 21, 1994), which was released 30 years ago.
The DVD includes two new songs, "Saraba Momoko" and "Nozomi Kanae Tamae" from the popular 1994 album "Reticle Za Mousou" by Muscle Shoujo Belt, in addition to the new song "Doctor Stop Occulting Me". The DVD includes the tour "Moment! ~The DVD is a gorgeous package of old and new Muscle Sho's charms and includes 10 songs from their final performance at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) on November 22 last year, commemorating the 35th anniversary of their major label debut.
Vocalist Kenji Ohtsuki commented on the release of this commemorative disc as follows.
It has been 30 years since the release of "Reticle Za Delusion," the most experimental of Muscle's albums!
The new commemorative song "The Man Who Stopped the Occult by the Doctor" was written as a side story to "The Reticle Za Delusion". But no matter how many times you listen to it, I don't think you can tell where it connects to the Reticle story. That's the point. That's what makes it experimental. In other words, even after 35 years since their major label debut, Muscle Shoujo Band is still ongoing and experimental! That's what I mean. Probably.(Kenji Ohtsuki)
Live concerts to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of "Reticle Za Mousou" will be held on May 13 at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA' and on May 31 at
It was announced that the event will be held at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM on June 21, the 36th anniversary of Muscle Shoujo Belt's debut, and that Muscle Shoujo Belt's major debut 36th anniversary live will be held at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo, Japan.
