Wednesday's Campanella will digitally release their new song "Tamamonomae" on Wednesday, March 13, and will also sing the theme song for the Amazon Original drama "Boku no Aishii Yokai Girlfriend," which will be available worldwide exclusively on Prime Video starting Friday, March 22.

The drama series "My Lovely Yokai Girlfriend" is an original scripted drama depicting the unique Japanese culture of "Yokai" and "Otaku" culture. Yuto Sano plays the lead role, with Ai Yoshikawa as the heroine, and Takahiro Miki, a master of adolescent and romantic works, directs. In this unique drama with battle action and mystery, Tadashi Inukai (a.k.a. Hachi/Yuto Sano), a college student and video game geek who wants a girlfriend, and Izzy (Ai Yoshikawa), a beautiful youkai girl on a mission of revenge over 500 years ago, find themselves in a strange relationship and a revenge drama that involves the people around them. It is a unique "yokai love comedy" with battle action and mystery, and Shiba is scheduled to appear in the film.

The theme song for the drama "Tamamonomae" was written by music producer Kenmochi Hidefumi. The song was created based on the image of Izzy, the heroine of the drama who has a mysterious charm, and is based on the theme of "Tamamonomae," a legendary fox that is said to have existed in Japan at the end of the Heian period (794-1185). The cover photo shows Uchiha's "Tamamonomae", which is a song about a legendary fox "Tamamonomae". The jacket photo is an illustration of Shiba transformed into a "tamamonomae," a striking vivid pink and blue color.

The song is scheduled for digital release on Wednesday, March 13, and Pre-Add/Pre-Save of "Tamamonomae" has started today on some music distribution services. Next month, on Saturday, March 16, the first "Nippon Budokan Solo - METEOR SHOWER" will be held with Shiba as the second lead actor and singer. In the key visual currently being released, Shiba in a 3D dress is symbolic, but we look forward to the day of the performance to see what kind of performance it will be. Also, on March 13 (Wed.), the analog versions of "Neon" and "RABBIT STAR ★" will be released.

Wednesday's Campanella Comments

We are pleased to announce that Wednesday's Campanella has produced the theme song for the drama "My Lovely Yokai Girlfriend". Based on the image of the yokai heroine Izzy, who has a slightly dubious charm, we chose the song title from the legendary yokai fox "Tamamonomone," which is said to have existed in Japan at the end of the Heian period (794-1185).
Since the drama had a mix of romance, battle, horror, and comedy, we aimed to create a unique song with a fast-paced development. I hope you will enjoy the song in your own way, as it has various elements, including singing and dancing! (Kenmochi Hidefumi)

I participated in the drama as the MC of an e-sports tournament. There were a lot of yokai (monsters) in the drama, and they had very detailed special makeup and elaborate costumes that were very powerful! It was a bright and fun scene, and it was a shame that I could only appear in a small part.
