Aurora, a new generation of Scandinavian pop singers, has released a new song called "Some Type Of Skin".

Co-produced by Chris Greatti, known for his work with Youngblood and Grimes, and mixed by Mitch McCarthy, who has worked with Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga, and Conan Gray, the electro-pop song finds Aurora expressing a vulnerability and emotional recovery She expresses the conflict between feelings of vulnerability and the need for emotional recovery.

Aurora on her latest songI've always been told that I should create a certain kind of skin. I always blended myself so much into the world that I hardly knew where the world ended and I began. This song is a cry for the enormity of that. Then there is the joy of being human. Even if it is beyond the control of any of us."He commented.

A music video for "Some Type Of Skin," co-directed by Aurora and Kaveh Nabatian, was also released. Aurora talked about working with Kaveh, with whom she also worked on the music video for the song "Your Blood," which was released in November 2023,Kaveh is like a strange soulmate from another world. Some Type Of Skin" follows the release of "Your Blood" in November 2023 and "The Conflict Of The Mind" in January 2024.

Aurora will be in Japan for SUMMER SONIC 2024, performing at the Osaka venue on Saturday, August 17 and at the Tokyo venue on Sunday, August 18. It has also been announced that Aurora will perform at the iconic British music event Glastonbury Festival in June.
