The "Bob Marley Shop in HMV" will be held to celebrate the release of the movie "Bob Marley: ONE LOVE," which will be released on May 17 in Japan. The period is from May 10 to May 23, 2024.

The panel exhibition will be held at two stores, HMV&BOOKS SHINSAIBASHI in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, and HMV&BOOKS OKINAWA in Urasoe, Okinawa. In addition, goods will be sold exclusively at HMV nationwide and at the online store, HMV&BOOKS online. The goods on sale will include two sets of four stickers and a towel with the logo.

The film Bob Marley: ONE LOVE, which opens in Japan on May 17, is a story that explores the life and legacy of Bob Marley, the singer-songwriter whose classic songs were recorded for Island Records in the 1970s and who brought Jamaican reggae to the international stage. In December 1976. The story also includes the attempted murder of Bob Marley at his home in Kingston, Jamaica, his appearance two days later at the free "Smile Jamaica" concert, his stay in England to record his classic album "Exodus," and his dramatic return to the Jamaican stage at the "One Love Peace Concert" in April 1978. The film tells the powerful story of Bob's overcoming adversity, including his dramatic return to the stage and his revolutionary musical background. The soundtrack to the film has been licensed for release on CD and LP only in Japan, and the CD will be released on May 8 in two formats, deluxe 7-inch size and standard vinyl, while the two-disc, Japan-pressed analog vinyl will be released on July 31.
