The advance distribution of Takashi Hosokawa's new song "Otoko Fun" started today on the 22nd, and the jacket photo has been released. In his previous works, he has appeared in jacket photos in kimono and suits, but this time, he wears that jersey that has been talked about on SNS, which is a novel photo.

His new song "Otoko-bune" is set in Esashi, Hokkaido, and expresses strength and melancholy mainly with Tsugaru shamisen and trumpet, and sings about a fisherman's manly spirit to face rough seas while thinking of his mother. It is an authentic enka song that emphasizes the strength and the clear-cut tenderness of Takashi Hosokawa's one and only personality as he prepares to celebrate his 50th year in the art form next year.

Along with the start of distribution, a shocking jacket photo was released. Hosokawa is famous for her professional-level golf skills, and she often wears golf wear in her private life. The top and bottom set-up jersey she is wearing in this film is one of Hosokawa's favorite golf brands, and has a large skull design on it, making it an impactful piece of clothing. It is a high-end brand that costs more than 130,000 yen.

In January of this year, a weekly photo magazine published a photo of Hosokawa leaving the concert hall in this jersey after the concert, and the gap between him and enka singer Takashi Hosokawa, who was wearing a kimono on stage, and the impact of the photo was so strong that a large number of collage images of him in the jersey were created on SNS, creating a huge buzz. The phenomenon became a huge sensation. Furthermore, Razor Ramon RG, an official disciple of Takashi Hosokawa, immediately purchased a jersey matching his mentor's and posted a photo of them in the same pose on his SNS, which caused a completely unexpected reaction.

Hosokawa, who did not have a cell phone, had no idea about this buzz, but when the staff asked him about the details of the situation, he suggested that he wear this jersey for the jacket of his new song to be photographed. Then, as befitting the title of "Otokosen," an unprecedented jacket photo design was completed, showing Takashi Hosokawa pushing through many large and small figures in a fierce stormy sea.

The CD release was originally scheduled for July, but due to Hosokawa's strong desire to deliver the song to fans as soon as possible, it was decided to release the song as an advance distribution starting May 22. In conjunction with the distribution, a campaign to share the song on social networking services (SNS) has also been decided. Listen to "Otoko Fun" on a target distribution site and share your thoughts on X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram, and all entrants will receive a standby screen featuring the jacket photo design. In addition, if you participate in the "my Hitz" campaign on the "dHitz" distribution service, three people will be selected in a drawing to receive an acrylic stand autographed by Takashi Hosokawa in a jersey.

He has already performed "Otoko Fun" at his own concerts. It remains to be seen if he will one day perform his new song in this jersey.
