monje, a creative team from Tokyo University of the Arts, releases "Atsumare" LIVE video from their 1st solo live.
monje, a creative team from Tokyo University of the Arts consisting of Kanan, a vocalist and lyricist who colors the space with his unique groove, and Shun Moriyama, who composes and arranges all songs with a "playful" spirit, has released a live video of "Atsumare" from their first solo live held on May 18 (Saturday).
The "monje first park," which is also the title of the live, appears on a circular stage.
The one-man live concert was held on Saturday, May 18 at BAROOM in Minami-Aoyama. Tickets were SOLD OUT. The stage was arranged with grass and jungle gyms made by the members to represent "monje Daiichi Koen," the title of the live. Starting with Moriyama's nostalgic keyboard harmonica, the guitar, piano, drums, and bass members gradually gathered to perform "Atsumare" under the light of a mirror ball. Moriyama, who also composed the song, sang along with Kanan, who held the microphone and made eye contact with the band members as they sang the song in a lively manner.
First LIVE performance for monje with a band
The content of the show is different from the two-person show, and expresses new possibilities for monje.
