Two new titles of the stage "Sword Dance" will be performed in 2025!
At the grand autumn performance of the stage "Katakana" shinden tsukkari kitan no ranbaiten at the Canal City Theater in Fukuoka on July 21, 2024, it was announced that two new sword-styled performance titles will be presented in 2025.
The first omnibus short story series in the sword series, "Jukkouden: Ama imo no far off in time," will be staged from February to March 2025. Kenichi Suemitsu, who has written and directed the previous productions, will write the script and supervise the direction as general director, while Motoyoshi Youyasu, Shintaro Takemura, and Hyakumaryo Kataoka will write the script together with Suemitsu and Motoyoshi Youyasu will direct under the supervision of Suemitsu. In July and August of the same year, "Shiden: Shinkansen Shintai Kakeru EYE," based on the original game "Tokumei Chosa Tenpo Edo" (Special Investigation: Edo), will be performed! Kenichi Suemitsu will write the script and direct this production as he has in the past. As a new experiment, the play will be performed in two versions, one with the Masahide Suishinko unit and the other with the Kiyomaro unit, in accordance with the setting of the original game. (There are no major differences in the main storyline between the two versions.)
