Sony Music launches new management & label "Echoes" with YOASOBI and MAISONdes
Sony Music Entertainment (SME) Inc. has launched a new management and label, Echoes.
Echoes includes YOASOBI, a "unit that turns novels into music" consisting of composer Ayase and vocalist ikura, as well as Ayase and Ikuta Rira as solo artists; MAISONdes, a music project based on the concept of "a song for each resident in a six-and-a-half-mat apartment somewhere in the world. Aooo is a rock band that brings together a new generation of musicians, including Riko Ishino (ex. Akai Koen), Suri, Hikaru Yamamoto, and Tsumiki, all of whom have a wealth of experience in the field. Echoes also manages MECRE, a collaboration platform for people who love music and creation.
Along with the establishment, Echoes' official website and various social networking services were also launched, filled with its unique worldview.
Echoes will focus on discovering artists who resonate with the label, further increasing the diversity of the label, and releasing works by new talents one after another. Please look forward to the label's future challenges as a base for music and various forms of expression to transcend all boundaries and grow in response to the music.
