Five-member dance vocal group "MADKID" will hold a one-man live concert to celebrate their 10th anniversary!
On November 17, 2012, the five-member dance vocal group "MADKID," responsible for the TV anime series "The Rise of the Shield Heroes" and the opening theme of the currently airing TV anime "Haigakura," held a one-man live concert at Otemachi Mitsui Hall in Tokyo to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
MADKID was formed in July 2014. After several member changes, SHIN joined in 2017 to form the current lineup.
The band made their major label debut in 2018, and their third single "RISE" was selected as the opening theme for the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Heroes" and became a hit mainly in the United States. The song's total YouTube views have surpassed 30 million.
Since then, she has sung many anime theme songs and is currently expanding her activities internationally, performing at events not only in Japan but also abroad, including in the United States, Canada, and Germany.
These five members celebrated their 10th anniversary.
The daytime show featured a setlist that traced the band's history, from its early days to its latest songs, and included the band's 10-year history.
On the other hand, the night show featured a hard-hitting performance with the recently released album "DROPOUT," and the band's "MADKID-ness" came to the fore in their live performance.
At the end of the concert, it was also announced that a six-city tour will be held in 2025 in Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Miyazaki.
The fastest fan club advance application will start on November 18.
It has also been announced that the tour will take the group to 11 North American cities in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico in 2025.
We will continue to keep an eye on the progress of the five members as they enter their eleventh year.
