Official live report of "Midori-Yoshiki Shakai Live House Tour "Laugh"" (Japanese only)
'I couldn't help but have fun because everyone had a smile on their face. I want to carry the smiles everyone passed on to me and take them to bigger places yet to show them sights they've never seen before."

Midori-Yoshiki-sai held the final show of their nationwide live house tour "Midori-Yoshiki-sai Live House Tour "Laugh"" (12 shows in 9 cities) at Zepp Haneda, Tokyo.
This tour was held under the theme, "We want people to feel "Laugh" in a "rough" way at the distance of a live music club. The final show of the tour directly demonstrated the band's appeal as a live band, and the audience went into a frenzy.
With a jazzy sound effect, the lights of the venue were dimmed little by little, and the live performance started. Shingo Anami (bass) appeared first, improvising groovy rhythms with Osamu Hidai on support drums. Then peppe (Key) and Isshu Kobayashi (G) took the stage and added piano and guitar sounds. Finally, Haruko Nagaya (V,G) stood in the center of the stage and sang dynamically, drawing loud cheers from the floor.
Welcome to the Live House Tour "Laugh"! (Nagaya), the first words of the song was the gorgeous pop tune "Tap Tap Dance". The first words were "Tap Tap Dance," a gorgeous pop tune, followed by "Let's have fun at the tour final! (Kobayashi and Anami stood on the stage to perform "sabotage," to which the audience responded with handclaps. The audience responded with handclaps, creating a passionate sense of unity that could only come from a live house.
I think the live house is the reason why you can see everyone's faces and hear all kinds of sounds. I hope you will enjoy the live performance that only a live house can offer. The title of the concert is "Laugh. The title is "Laugh," which means "laugh" with a smile, and of course "rough," which means relaxed and carefree. I hope you will experience both of them. I would like to create a special final just for today with everyone. Please enjoy it as you like! (Nagaya)
After verbalizing their feelings about the day's live performance, the scene continued to allow the audience to experience the diverse musicality of Green Yellow Society.
Nagaya played the synth on "Pink Blue," an upper tune that blended an indie pop feel with a danceable sound. The band also performed "Shout Baby," a song about trying to break through negative thoughts, and "Much, Much, Much," an emotional song that began with Anami's slap bass followed by Kobayashi's guitar solo, further uplifting the audience's spirits.
After "LITMUS," led by peppe's classical piano playing, "Character" swirled with a danceable groove. The audience sang along to "Kesera-sera (Kesera-sera)," to which Nagaya responded, "Double your volume, keep the rhythm together, and be precise with the pitch. Can you do it? and the band went into a second sing-along. This kind of friendly exchange is one of the joys of a Green and Yellow Society concert.
The theme of the MC after "Breath" was "status report. I bought a new bass (MUSICMAN's Stingray) during the tour" (Anami), "I wrote a song for Shingo Katori! (PEPPE), "I counted 86 songs released so far. I wonder where we will reach 100 songs" (KOBAYASHI), "I really have something to say. Tomorrow is Osamu's birthday! (Nagaya), and a relaxed mood prevailed as they engaged in rough talk.
Can you show us your shiny smile yet? Let's light up this venue with more "Laugh"! Nagaya shouted, "Let's light up this venue with more 'Laugh'!
The flowing piano and dramatic vocals resonated in "What will happen from now on, what will happen from then on," and "Summertime Cinderella," a pop tune that blended freshness, sadness, nostalgia, and loveliness, before leading into "Mela! Nagaya, with his hand mic, moved from one end of the stage to the other, making eye contact with the audience as he performed. The arrangement of solo performances by Anami, peppe, and Kobayashi, and the production utilizing the glittering lights of mirror balls, embodied the excitement and fun that only a live house can provide.
The band also performed a new song, "Baka no Hitotsumae" (theme song for the movie "Roku no Liar na Daigakusei"). The song "Bokura wa ikimono dakara" (Because we are living things), with its magnificent melody and the lyrics "Sayonara datte iteru/Kaichiyu bokurawa wa shimono desu" (Good-bye, even I repeat/ Changing is beautiful), created a rich emotional impact.
Here Nagaya again addressed the audience.
During this live house tour, there were many things that we could see and notice because of the simplicity of our live house tour. I was reminded once again of the pure and sparkling smiles of everyone at our live shows.
Because everyone is smiling, we are able to perform in a good environment and in a good atmosphere. I truly feel that we are supported by everyone's smiles. I loved this tour so much and had so much fun. I want to carry the smiles that everyone has shared with me and take them to bigger and bigger places, and show them a view that they have never seen before. Let's grow up together.
Such words led me to "Are you ashamed of your youth? The song was about the beauty and love of living life to the fullest. The performance and song, filled with strong emotions, were surely etched in the memory of each and every one of the audience members. After the performance, the four members lined up side by side and greeted the audience politely. The main part of the concert was closed.
The first to appear on stage, led by calls for an encore and hand clapping, was "Shingo Sensei" with his guitar, who introduced the goods with an oasis-like (?) chord progression, enveloping the audience in a relaxed atmosphere. The audience was enveloped in a relaxed atmosphere as he introduced the goods with an oasis-like (?) chord progression.
Nagaya, Kobayashi, and peppe also appeared on stage. Can you still keep smiling, Tokyo! (Nagaya) and "Party! and the floor went into a party state. The floor went into a party mode as they performed "Hana ni natta (Be a flower)" and closed their nationwide live house tour "Midori-Yoshiki Shakai Live House Tour "Laugh"".
During the live performance, Green & Yellow Society announced the release of their new album "Channel U" on February 19, 2025. The experience gained from the live house tour is likely to push the four members to a higher stage.
