The new unit "sis" (read: "sis"), born from the divas discovered in "Trot Girls Japan," an audition program to discover new divas under the theme of "trot," an immensely popular music genre in Korea, released their debut song "Love Battery" today for download, The music video is now on view.

The members of SIS consist of Miyu Kanou, Makoto., Rihoko Tara, and Ai Asayo. All of the members are winners of the semi-finals or higher of the audition program "Trot Girls Japan".

The group name "sis" is named after "sis," which has the friendly meaning of "big sister" or "good girl friend" in English, and "sisu," the Finnish word for brave and unbreakable heart. The main logo also shows "/T" meaning from "trot". The group aims to be a group that has a strong heart but is also a gentle and healing presence next to you, and a group that sings songs that transcend generations and national borders.

Among the members, Miyu Kanou and Makoto. went to Korea as representatives of Japan after the audition in Japan, and appeared in the music variety show "Japan-Korea Song King Contest" where they had heated battles with Korean representative singers who won the Korean audition program, making their names so well known in Korea. The "Japan-Korea Song King Contest" is a weekly music variety show that features the winners of Korea's audition programs. The "Japan-Korea Song King Contest" has been getting high viewer ratings every week, and a spin-off program is currently being aired, and their singing videos uploaded to YouTube have received over 1 million views across the board.

The group also consists of other diverse members such as Rihoko Tara, a hands-on singer who has been singing R&B and JAZZ since the age of 18 as a club singer, and Ai Asayo, a former idol from a music college who has performed in many musicals.

Their debut song will be produced by Hyada-in, who has worked with many big artists and idols. As the girls come from a trotting background, they cover the trotting classic "Love Battery," which was a big hit in Korea in 2009. The song retains the echoes of the Korean language, with impressive lyrics with a slight accent, and a melancholy, yet lively four-beat beat that is very "Trot". A Korean-language version is also included on the coupling. Hyadine commented on sis' debut song, "I made the song with a lot of Japanese Showa-era song taste while respecting the rhyme and resonance of the original song's lyrics. The arrangement also has a fun and poignant sound with a phony disco taste in mind. The members' emotionally rich vocals as well as the advanced chorus work are a must-listen! says the band.

In addition, the music video for "Ai no Battery" started to be released today. The music video, available in both Japanese and Korean, features the members dancing to the lively sound of the chorus. A live broadcast featuring the members will be held on the official YouTube channel of sis from 9:00 p.m. today, the release date, where they may share some secret stories about the recording and filming of the music video. In addition, the CD of "Ai no Batteries" will be released on February 5. The CD will include Japanese and Korean versions of "Ai no Battery" as well as solo songs by each member, and will feature their first attempts at covering songs from the 70s and 80s, which they have not performed in auditions or live performances.
We will keep an eye on the future activities of "Vintage Music Diva" sis, who is aiming not only for Japan and Korea but also for the world.
