Wynn Morisaki will release a cover album of "movie music" that has been long awaited! In addition, a live performance by a quartet is also scheduled!
Win Morisaki will release "Win's Film Songs," a cover album focusing on film music, on Wednesday, February 19.
Speaking of movies, his appearances as an actor as well as his impressive debut as a film director, winning the "George Lucas Award," the Grand Prix at the "Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024," are still fresh in our memories, but also as an artist, in addition to his own live performances, As an artist, in addition to his own live performances, he has collaborated with orchestras and sung on stage and in TV programs many times during the year, and many people have asked for a sound recording of the songs he has performed, which is why this release has been decided. In this work, we have arranged and produced a number of famous Western songs, mainly movie theme songs, which she has sung on stage and on TV, with simple compositions such as strings and piano, band sounds, and modern digital sounds, in a way that conveys Win Morisaki's personality and high singing ability, while respecting the songs. The result is a work that offers new encounters for both those who know the original songs and those who are listening to them for the first time.
The CD includes an application ticket with a serial number to participate in the autograph session to be held in April next year, so please check it out.
In addition, "MORISAKI WIN Classic Concert ~Warmth Of Wood~" will be held at Hamarikyu Asahi Hall in Tokyo on Friday, April 25. In this concert, a quartet with piano and strings will perform original compositions as well as songs from their cover album. Tickets for the concert will be available through fan club advance orders starting today.
