The band performed a total of 23 songs, including the theme song for the popular TV drama "Meriva" and "DOGLAND," the ending theme song for the TV anime "Chainsaw Man. PEOPLE 1's 8th main performance titled "The World of PEOPLE 1", a 2-day solo show at the Ariake Arena, ended with a great success. The band performed a setlist full of their best-known songs, including the theme song for the popular TV drama "Meriva," in front of 20,000 people for two days, 10,000 people each, to mark the culmination of their 5th anniversary.
PEOPLE 1 is a band formed by Tokyo-based musician Deu (Vo, G, B, Other) with Takeuchi (Dr, Dr) and Ito (Vo, G). Their music videos and artwork, which express their unique world and cross-genre and literary songs by Deu, have been attracting attention on the Internet as "addictive, emo, fashionable, and nostalgic".
This October, they sang the theme song for their first commercial TV drama and made their first appearance on a terrestrial music program, further expanding their recognition beyond listeners in their teens and twenties.
Last weekend, PEOPLE 1 held its 8th solo performance titled "The World of PEOPLE 1" at Ariake Arena on December 21 (Sat.) and 22 (Sun.). 20,000 people attended the two-day event, which was the culmination of the group's 5th anniversary. On the gorgeous stage decorated with crimson curtains, the theme color of PEOPLE 1, the band performed 23 songs, including the popular drama theme song "Meriva," "DOGLAND," "Everlasting Light," and "Ratpark feat. Kei Sugawara" with surprise guest Kei Sugawara. Kei Sugawara as a surprise guest. In front of the large number of fans who had gathered for the show, they fully expressed their original "world" that they have created over the past five years.


The first POP-UP STORE "appartement 1827" is currently being held at Takeshita-dori in Harajuku for a limited time. It will be open until 12/29 (Sun.) this week, so be sure to check it out.
PEOPLE 1 has been gaining recognition in various fields since the start of its activities at the end of 2019, and has even reached the stage of holding two arena performances on two days in 2024. 2025 will be another year that we cannot take our eyes off of it.
