Hikaru Utada's latest song "Electricity" Karen Nyame KG remix will be released on February 15! To celebrate the release, a DJ event will be held at the EXPO'70 pavilion in Osaka: Expo '70 Commemorative Park.
Utada Hikaru's latest song "Electricity".
It was included in "SCIENCE FICTION" released in 2012, and was performed as an encore on various tours, symbolizing last year's activities.
The music video (MV) for "Electricity," released in December, has garnered more than 1.6 million views.
In the meantime, a remix of the song "Electricity" will be released on February 15. The song was written by London-based producer Karen Nyame KG, and we are looking forward to seeing the new world view she has infused into the song.
To celebrate the release of "Electricity (Karen Nyame KG remix)," a DJ event will be held on February 14, the night before the release, at Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka Prefecture.
In addition to Karen Nyame KG, who worked on this remix, DJ YANATAKE and DJ POIPOI will also appear. In addition, "Electricity (Karen Nyame KG remix)" will be released for the first time in the world at this DJ event.
After the event, the first nationwide airing of the song will be on FM802 "ROCK KIDS 802-Lisa Lit Friday-" on February 14 (Fri.). Please enjoy it as well.

At the same time, a special installation of "NINE STORIES" will also be held, which was developed on Hikaru Utada's staff SNS during her nationwide tour last year and attracted a lot of attention. This will be the first installation prior to the publication of "NINE STORIES," a photo book that captures the national tour from the viewpoints of nine photographers. The exhibition will be held at the EXPO'70 Pavilion in Expo '70 Commemorative Park from February 14 (Fri.) to 24 (Mon., holiday). At the venue, visitors can enjoy an installation of works that will also be included in the photo book. Some of the photographic works will be exhibited for the first time, so please join us. During the photo exhibition, you will also receive a local Kuma-chan sticker as an admission bonus. This will be a valuable gift that will end as soon as they are gone, so don't miss out.
