Sonar Pocket Announces Resumption of Live Activities, Surprise Release of New Song and Release of Music Video Featuring Bond Between Three Members
Sonar Pocket, a three-member music unit that announced last year that it would temporarily suspend live performances in order to focus on treatment for ko-dai's vocal disorder, has announced that it will resume live performances.
He plans to resume live performances gradually from the tour starting in May while dealing with the symptoms of his dysphonia.
Today, a new song "Koko ni iru" was released. Ko-dai, whose symptoms were improving but who was still having difficulty singing songs with lyrics at the time of recording, sings the chorus.
The music video "Koko ni iru" (Here we are), which shows the bond between the three members, has also been released. The music video also shows the bond between the three members and their will to "make up for each other's shortcomings and deliver Sonar Pocket's music together".
This "Sonar Pocket Live Tour 2025 -Letter-" will bring the "current" Sonar Pocket to the fans who have continued to support the band during its live hiatus.
Comment from ko-dai (Vo)
I have been dealing with my symptoms since I announced that I would be taking a break from live performances.
At the time of recording, we were still in the preparation stage before singing the song with the lyrics.
To keep Sonar Pocket moving forward, Eyeron sang the main part of the new song "Koko ni iru" and I participated in the chorus with matty.
During my hiatus from live performances, I have fundamentally relearned how to use my vocal cords, and through repeated lessons, I have gained confidence in my singing. Now I genuinely enjoy singing.
Little by little, I will resume my live activities. It will be a tour to deliver my current singing voice.
Not only myself, but also EYERON and MATTY have grown up and are waiting for everyone.
Thank you for always supporting me.
Let's meet again.
