Yellow Akiyama opens his 5th anniversary year with a one-man live performance in his hometown Utsunomiya! The song "That song" was suddenly released to the public!
On March 10 (Mon.), he held his solo live "5th anniversary 'Re:Touch'" (5th anniversary retouch) at his hometown, Utsunomiya HELLO DOLLY in Tochigi.
The 5th anniversary "Re:Touch" was held at "Utsunomiya HELLO DOLLY", a live house in Utsunomiya, which Akiyama Kiiro himself frequents. It was a rare opportunity for Akiyama Kiyo to perform on this scale. There was a sense of tension in the venue, where the floor and stage were almost zero distance apart.
As if to break the tense atmosphere, Akiyama Kiyo appeared with a soundtrack created especially for this live performance, and suddenly performed "I'm glad I was born" from his latest album "Good Night Mare" released in September last year, followed by "chills? chills?" from his first album "From DROPOUT," and "Yasagure Kido," which has been ranked in Spotify's "Japan Viral Top 50," and which he has long said is "all about me.
Akiyama Kiyo performed a song that inspired him to get out of his days as an amateur, when he spent most of his time working part-time and things were always going wrong, and a song that strongly expresses his "now".
I'll make it the best day ever, so let me make it the best day ever, too!"Akiyama Yellow calls out, and the audience shouts in response.
She sang "Dorothy," "Drown in Twinkle," "Rainy day," and other rare early songs as if she were speaking to each and every person in front of her.I love writing music, but over the past five years, I've come to love live music just as much. I've come to realize over the past five years that I'm in the business of making you guys excited to come all the way up here.Akiyama Yellow says, "I want to stay the same. I want to stay the same, even if I'm hurt and rough. Akiyama Kiiro has been performing "Rainy day" at their most important live shows, but while he talked about his own changes during the MC, he showed a strong core that has not changed as he continues to perform solo in Utsunomiya, his hometown, even after five years since his debut.
In the second half, the band welcomed Deu, who performed at PEOPLE 1 last year, as a guest for the first time in his career, and folded in standard songs such as "Caffeine," which gave new life to a song he created, and the live anthem "Toko no Hate. The last song chosen for the main event was a performance of "Wannabe," a collaboration with the manga "Chojin X," which sent the floor into a frenzy.
For encores, the band performed "Monkey Up City Pop" and "Miyanobashi Undersession". These two songs, which can be said to be his roots, brought the audience the most excitement of the day.
I'd like to say congratulations again. I want to say to everyone, congratulations on five years of Akiyama yellow."
The past and the future of Akiyama Yellow. The beginning of the 5th anniversary year of Akiyama Yellow, which continues to evolve while keeping the important aspects unchanged, has thus come to a close.
During the performance, a surprise announcement was made that a new song will be released in April and that "Rainy day," which was also performed today, will be available on YouTube.
Rainy day" was newly produced for this occasion, and all the work was done by Akiyama Kiyo, who also created the video that will be shown to the public.
