One Republic finally releases "Invincible (from Kaiju No. 8)", the ED theme for "Hoshina's Holiday"! The music video filmed in Japan will be released tonight at 9:00 pm!
One Republic, a Grammy-nominated international pop-rock band, has released "Invincible (from Kaiju No. 8)," the ending theme song for the anime "Kaiju No. 8" 1st season compilation/co-production "Hoshina's Holiday" today! The song, which was performed three times in Japan at the Ariake Arena in January, has finally been made available for download.

Also premiering tonight at 9pm is a music video shot in One Republic's favorite country, Japan. The music video depicts a retired monster who leads a quiet life, but is inspired by One Republic's exciting live performance in Ariake, and finally destroys Tokyo. The film also features the members parading around Tokyo and enjoying conversation at a bar.

Nobody (Monster No. 8 ED theme)" (read: Nobody), released last April as the ending theme for the first season of the anime "Monster No. 8," was nominated for the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025 "Best of Listeners' Choice: Overseas Music powered by Spotify. One Republic just announced last night that it was nominated for the "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025 Best of Listener's Choice: Overseas Song powered by Spotify". The song also won the "Song of the Year by Download (Western Music)" at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards, and the release of "Invincible (from Kaiju No. 8)" comes amidst heightened expectations.
The manga has already been published in 15 volumes and has sold more than 18 million copies in Japan (including digital editions). The "Hoshina's Holiday" screened this time is a completely new anime original episode. We hope you will enjoy it with music by One Republic.
