Yukitekaeranaru," a film depicting the fierce love and adolescence of three real-life men and women set in the Taisho and early Showa eras of "New Currents in Japanese Culture," will be available exclusively on Prime Video from May 23 (Fri.).
The script was written more than 40 years ago by Yozo Tanaka, the director of "Zigoinelwaizen" and "Sailor Suit and Machine Gun," and many directors have been eagerly awaiting the film version of the script, but for a long time it was unrealized. Master director Kichitaro Negishi, who has long coveted this "rarely seen and outstanding scenario," takes the director's chair for the first time in 16 years, and Suzu Hirose, Daisho Kido, and Masaki Okada play three men and women who run like sparks through beautiful times.
