Five-piece alternative funk band BREIMEN held a solo live "BREIMEN 2DAYS LIVE in TOKYO -1,2,3,4,5-" at Shibuya Spotify O-EAST on June 13 and 14.
The title of the event reflects the concept of the show: 1 MAN LIVE / 2 DAYS / 3 STAGE / 4 THE PEOPLE / 5 PLAYERS, and it was a special 2-day event with an all-night session at midnight on the 13th.
Approximately 1,000 people gathered on both days for a stage performance that symbolized where BREIMEN is today. The new song "BALLOON" was performed on both days, and it was announced that it will be released for distribution next Wednesday, June 18.

Let me give you a glimpse of such a one-man live performance.
The first day's performance on the 13th opened with a count of "1, 2, 3, 4, 5" by a female voice, followed by the first song "IWBYL", a standard live song at BREIMEN. The audience responded with a call and response to the funk number "Ranjoki. The middle song "yonaki" was followed by the mellow voice of vocalist Shota Takagi, which created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. After "Chapter," which began with George Hayashi's saxophone solo, a new song "BALLOON" was performed for the first time. The audience's reaction to this song, which has both a buoyant and groovy feel and is typical of BREIMEN, naturally increased. The performance was also streamed on Instagram Live, allowing fans who could not make it to the venue to watch the performance in real time.

Toward the end of the concert, guitarist Satou Katsushiro played a vivid solo in "Anda Tadokosa," the band's early signature song "Stick Man," and "Spumoni," a song that evokes the beginning of summer,
The last song of the show was "Play time isn't over," in which they sang "Play time isn't over," as the title implies. The last song of the show was "Play time isn't over.

An all-night session was held at the same venue late at night on the 13th. Over 40 musicians gathered, transcending genres, including TAIHEI and TENDRE from .ENDRECHERI. and Suchmos.
The session was a once-in-a-lifetime event with minimal prior meetings, and the artists engaged in a dense time of sound conversation that transcended the boundaries of genre until the morning.
The long session, in which the audience and the stage became one, created a legendary space at the crossroads of the Japanese music scene.

The second day's performance on the 14th also started off so energetically that one could not feel the afterglow of the previous night. The show opened with the fast-paced "Breakthrough," followed by "PINK," "Dakedepantsu," and a variety of other sounds.
In the middle part of the show, they performed songs that crossed genres such as "CATWALK" and "Hip me. During "T. P. P.," the two MCs, Takagi and Hayashi, encouraged the audience to call out the song, and the entire audience chanted "Tao Pai Pai" in unison.
Following the 13th, a new song "BALLOON" was performed again on the same day, and in a video broadcast after the show, it was revealed that the song will be released for distribution next week on June 18.

The last half of the show continued with emotional numbers such as "Lie on the night" and "Night cruising", followed by "ODORANAI", "Love comedy", and "MUSICA" after the introduction of the members, all filled with the euphoric feeling typical of BREIMEN.
Then, the tension was raised with the up-tempo "Rolling Stone" and ended with the slow-tempo "Zzz". At the end of the show, Takagi fell asleep on stage, which impressed the audience with BREIMEN's wide range of planning and expressive abilities.

BREIMEN plans to follow this up with the distribution and release of a new song, "BALLOON," on June 18. It will be interesting to see how the new song, which was just performed at a live concert, will expand as a sound source.
Pre Add / Pre Save is also being held, and there will be a special video and raffle prizes for participants. Please check the official website for details.
