Namco Bandai Music Live Inc. is pleased to announce that on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the rookie male VTuber unit "Reφilm" (read ︓refilm) digitally relisted their first original song "NEW LIFE" and also released its music video.
NEW LIFE" is produced by "GRP," known for co-writing and arranging "Hai Yorokonde" and "Nai Nai ︕" with KOCHINOKEN, and "MEG.ME," who has provided music for numerous J-POP, K-POP and ani-songs, including Da-iCE, SUPERJUNIOR and Idolmaster.
The sound is a combination of K-pop-like stylishness and retro tones reminiscent of the "movie theater" concept of the group, with three different voices, from low-pitched to fresh, singing and rapping over the sound, creating an uplifting and danceable POP number.
To celebrate the release of this song, an online 1-on-1 talk event will also be held for those who purchased "NEW LIFE [miim edition]" on "Limista".

As Reφilm's memorable debut song, we aimed to create a gorgeous and energetic sound while staying true to the unit's concept of "a new beginning" and "a story that starts moving again.
The modern arrangement, which combines Saxophone riffs with 808s and HipHop-like rhythms, mixes a retro showtime vibe with a current feel.
The songs are filled with many developments, and while we are conscious of the uplifting feeling of the last song of a live performance, we have also interspersed "spur-of-the-moment" moments due to the contrast between live instruments and hammering.
The three members of Reφilm have chosen to "live in the moment" and move on to a new stage. We would be happy if we could support their departure with our sound.
