With a talented international cast including Rafe Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, and Isabella Rossellini, the film was nominated for eight Academy Awards®, including Best Picture, and won Best Adapted Screenplay at the 97th Academy Awards®, and swept the international awards race.
The film, which began screening on March 20 (Thursday, national holiday), has been ranked in the TOP 10 in the weekend movie rankings for eight consecutive weeks, and in its 10th week of release, it surpassed 1 billion yen in box-office revenue. The total box-office revenue has now exceeded 1.1 billion yen, and screenings in Dolby Atmos started on Friday, March 20.
While the excitement at the theaters has not yet cooled down, it has already been decided that the movie will be distributed exclusively on Prime Video as much as you can watch it. The Japanese dubbed version will be available only on Prime Video at the time of distribution.
