mekakushe's new song "Snow Dome Galaxy" is now available!
Singer-songwriter mekakushe (read: mekakushe) has released a new song, "Snow Dome Galaxy".
This song will be distributed in advance from the distribution album "13.8 Billion Years of Love," which is scheduled to be released on November 7, 2025 (Friday).
Written by mekakushe and arranged by Takahiro Nishijima, the song is a two-step with technical beats condensed into three minutes, as if the universe were trapped in a snow globe.
The jacket illustration and music video are by collage artist kyabeshi.
In addition, the jacket illustration for the album "13.8 Billion Years of Love," which is scheduled for release on November 7, 2025 (Friday), has also been released. The artwork for the album was created by Meyoco, an illustrator based in Southeast Asia with over 1.17 million followers on Instagram and a designer of her own apparel line. In addition to his main art work, Meyoco also draws other illustrations that serve as counterparts.
The two illustrations are the designs for the acrylic panels that will be distributed as a bonus for the 1st and 2nd stages of "mekakushe Planetarium Acoustic Live ~13.8 Billion Years of Love~" on November 27 (Thursday).

Snow globes are beautiful and lonely.
Be aware of beginnings and endings,
A brief eternity is locked away.
When I was a little girl, I loved spending time looking at snow globes.
To have an infinite world in the palm of your hand,
But to be complete in it,
I was thrilled that everything seemed to be condensed.
Music is similar. Though it will eventually come to an end,
Here is my own beautiful world, small and confined.
It's like a "listening" snow globe.
The beginning and the end, the beauty and the loneliness of it all,
Trapped in three minutes.
Comments by Takahiro Nishijima
The "Snow Globe Galaxy" is the joker on the album,
Various tricks were condensed into a short performance time.
The roller coaster-like rapid development and technical beats are the hallmarks of the band.
I asked mekakushe to challenge a lot of difficult harmonies and choruses (sorry), but she sang very beautifully and the one and only snow globe in the world was completed.

When you turn the snow globe upside down, you can see many different views.
We have also trapped various landscapes in this music video.
For you, this image is this world,
I would be happy to know what it looks like.
P.S. I sneaked 7 of mekakushe's favorite shrimp into the video.
Please look for it.
Meyoco Comments
I am very honored to have created mekakushe's album cover illustration.
I really enjoyed the production from beginning to end, and I sincerely appreciate that you allowed me to paint in my own style.
The theme is a combination of "time" and "space (space). With the girl, I tried to create a warm and peaceful atmosphere while incorporating the clock motif as a striking element. I wanted to express the feeling of remembering someone special.
I would be very happy if my illustrations could be a companion to mekakushe's music.
