YUKI's new song "Share" will be used as the theme song for the animated feature film "Kono Hon wo Stealer ha" to be released on December 26, 2025 (Friday).
Share" is the first long-awaited new song for YUKI since her album released in June 2024, and was released as a CD single on December 17 (Wed.).
The first edition is a special package that includes a paper jacket and an original sticker.
Based on the popular novel by Fukamidori Nobu, nominated for the 2021 Honya Taisho Award, the animated feature film "Kono hon wo stealeru mono ha" is a mystery-solving adventure fantasy in which two girls travel through the "world of books".
YUKI also commented on the song on the occasion of this announcement.
YUKI Comment
When I read a book, I get the feeling that I have entered that world and cannot get out. It makes me curious about the rest of the story and makes me want to go back to that world. When I was asked to write the theme song, I had a grand adventure with Fuyuki and Mashiro and everyone in Yomicho Town while reading this work. There is a word "escape from reality," and I think listening to music is similar to the reading experience. I created "Share" with the hope that even though we may never be able to understand each other 100%, we can become friends by sharing a ray of light that crosses our paths. I would be happy if we could share the adventure of immersing ourselves in music with this song. Please listen to it in the movie theater.
