Akita CARAVAN MUSIC FES 2024, an outdoor music festival organized by Masaru Takahashi, a singer-songwriter from Akita Prefecture, will be held for the seventh time this year from September 21 (Sat.) to 22 (Sun.) at Futatsui Central Park in Noshiro, Akita Prefecture.

Noshiro City, the host city, is located in the northwestern part of Akita Prefecture and is accessible not only from Akita Station and Akita Airport, but also from Odate-Noshiro Airport and Morioka Station (Aomori Prefecture). Access tours from major stations are scheduled to be announced, so please take this opportunity to visit the city from inside and outside of Akita Prefecture. A comment from the organizer, Masaru Takahashi, is available on the special website. The first round of artists has also been announced.

What is Akita CARAVAN MUSIC FES?

The festival is a caravan-type outdoor music festival that Masaru Takahashi, a singer-songwriter from Akita Prefecture, has been holding since 2016 with the aim of enlivening Akita Prefecture, which is said to have the nation's highest rate of population decline and aging population, through music. The festival aims to be held in all 13 cities in Akita Prefecture.

In addition, activities for "Akita CARAVAN MUSIC FES + A(CTION)," now in its third year since the start of the initiative, continue to be implemented.

In addition to enlivening Akita with music, ACMF will disseminate actions and information on the serious environmental and food loss issues facing Akita Prefecture, and implement them together with customers.
