Zane releases new album "ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS" and releases music video for the song "Stardust"!
Singer/songwriter Zane released his long-awaited new album "ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS" on May 17 (Friday), his fourth album in total, in which he was also heavily involved in the production as a producer. The music video for "Stardust," one of the songs on the album, has also been released.
For six years, Zane has been writing and producing "ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS" in his home studio in rural Pennsylvania, USA. This work was co-produced with Dave Cobb, a nine-time Grammy Award winner, and Dave has said that he was so moved by the vulnerability and honesty of Zane's voice and songs that he decided to participate in this project.
This is Zane's most personal work to date, reflecting his current place in life as he explores complex elements of healing, serenity, and growth. Zane also transcends genres on this album as an artist, leaning into new sounds with soulful music and live instruments, while delving into poetic lyrical expression as a songwriter.
In conjunction with the album's release, a music video for "Stardust," directed by Frank and Ivanna Bolin, was also released. The video expresses the lyrics of the song as it follows Zane's search for memory and mystery, guided by the falling stars. Through the metaphor of a celestial stranded on Earth, the video depicts Zane's journey through themes of identity, vulnerability, and the search for home as he ultimately ascends to join the stars.

Commenting on the album, Zane said
"This album turned out to be one of my favorites I've ever made, born out of pure honesty and vulnerability. I wanted every song to be as if I were sitting next to you, exposing my confidence, singing and talking. It's raw and stripped down, and that's the kind of music I always wanted to make."
"Working with Cobb was a great experience. He really elevated this album to another level. His help was huge. I hope I can take everyone who listens to the album on a fantastic magical journey and I hope they enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it."
"I think at that time, I was away from a lot of things, living only with my own ideas, and I wanted to write something from that point of view. This album is not only for the world, but also for myself."
