Kazumasa Oda After an interval of about 4 years! New song written for a Meiji Yasuda company commercial. First analog record box release!
The distribution of Kazumasa Oda's new song "All Gone" started on September 18.
The song was newly written by Oda for the first Meiji Yasuda corporate commercial in about four years.
The three commercials, "Shiawase na Toki" (A Happier Time), "Seishun no Shine" (Brightness of Youth), and "Kodomo no Hikari" (Small Light), will begin airing on September 18, the day of the distribution release.
Following the song "Waiting for the Wind" from the "Waiting for the Wind" commercial series that began airing in 2020, this is the first original song written in four years.
Oda's warm and gentle voice evokes empathy for the people in the film, and the content reminds us of the importance of those close to us.
◆"A Happier Time
This work makes us realize that the time we spend with those who are by our side as a matter of course is an irreplaceable happy moment.
◆ "The Splendor of Youth
This work gives us a glimpse of the brilliance of youth in the ordinary daily life of a student.
◆ "Small Light" Episode
The rich expressions on the children's faces - full of smiles, tears of frustration, and running in the light - make this work warm and fuzzy.
On the same day, September 18, the first analog record box containing 10 complete original albums, "Kazumasa Oda Original Album Analog Complete Box" will be released.
This is the first analog record box set under the solo name of Kazumasa Oda, which contains a complete set of 10 original albums from his first solo album "K.ODA" released in 1986 to his latest album "early summer 2022" released in 2022.
Oda has released two works, "K.ODA" and "Between the World & the Heart," in analog format, but since his later works became CD-only as time went on, this is the first time that all but two titles have been released in analog format.
At that time, "K.ODA" included a lyric card with lyrics written by Oda himself (valuable handwritten lyrics), and "BETWEEN THE WORD & THE HEART" included a lyric card consisting of off-shot photos including recordings, which was reprinted! It is included in the package.
In addition, liner notes for all 10 albums by Nobuaki Onuki, a music critic who knows the long history of Kazumasa Oda, are also included, including background information, comments on the songs, secret recording stories, and touching thoughts and tense moments that he wrote down during his interviews at each album release. The liner notes are a must-read for everyone involved in music, not just fans.
Kazumasa Oda just released a new song "Sono Koto ni Aru Mono" *the theme song for TBS Sunday Theater's "Blackpean Season 2" in July.
With the release of the next new song, "All Gone" and the release of their first analog record box, their further activities are already attracting attention.
Kazumasa Oda will celebrate his 77th birthday on September 20.
