Hashiguchi, vocalist of wacci, visited the filming site of the NTV drama "Houkago Karte" and performed a live song on YouTube!
The band wacci, which celebrated its 15th anniversary this month, has been in the spotlight since their song "I'm in Love" garnered attention mainly on SNS and has been viewed more than 250 million times.
A video of Yohei Hashiguchi, vocalist/guitarist of wacci, visiting the filming site of the Nittere TV drama "Houkago Karte" for which he sings the theme song, has been released on wacci's official YouTube channel.
When wacci's Hashiguchi appeared on the set of the classroom where Kohei Matsushita played the main character, Makino sensei, Aoi Morikawa played Shinotani sensei, and the children who played the children of 6th grade 2 of "Houkago Karte" appeared, he was welcomed with loud applause and cheers and played the theme song, "What a Small". During the filming of the drama, the children who played the children came up with their own dance to the chorus of "What a Little" and they all danced and sang together. This pattern was often posted on the drama's SNS, and during this performance, the children spontaneously began to sing along with Hashiguchi and dance to the chorus, creating a sense of unity at the scene. After the performance, the site was filled with applause. A video of the performance is now available on wacci's official YouTube channel. It is a heartwarming video that shows the friendly atmosphere at the site.
Also, tomorrow, 12/21 (Sat.), a live streaming will be held on wacci's YouTube channel from 20:15 before the drama airs. Don't miss the mini live performance by the five members!
The release of their sixth full-length album "Dressing" on January 29, 2025, and their first solo live concert at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in September, are scheduled to follow.
