Koretsawa's 《KORE THEATER 05》 live report has arrived!

Singer-songwriter Corethawa will hold "Corethawa One-man Show 2024 Coretheater 05" in Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, and Hokkaido, with an additional performance at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Auditorium in Tokyo on Thursday, December 19, 2024. It has been about 10 years since the first "Koretheater" was held at a live house with a capacity of 250 people. During that time, KORESAWA has been involved in numerous tie-ups and has made great strides, with all shows on this tour being sold out. As a testament to their growth, this concert was mesmerizing with its grand scale and performance.

This time, the story focuses on the secret of Koretsawa's character "Reko-chan". At the appointed time, a buzzer rings and a warning is played, just like in a movie. Then, an animation drawn by Shinpe Uchibori, who also handles the artwork, is shown. Reko-chan has a gaping hole in her body, and those around her throw heartless words at her such as "weird" and "disgusting. Hurt Reko-chan sets out on a journey to find a way to fill the hole--"Are you coming with us? The live performance started with "Shu-shu". Koresawa, carrying the same stuffed rabbit as Rekochan, stomps his feet to the drums of U (Dr.). The sight of Korezawa and Hareko, and the lyrics of "Chouchou," which describes a journey, are linked to each other, stirring up a sense of elation and sadness.

Reko found "Love" at the beginning of her journey. From there, they performed songs about love such as "Atashi ga shimasu datara" (Even if I die). Good evening, everyone! Are you ready to follow me today? Let's travel together. Let's go! and then they started to perform "If you want to make me your girlfriend," a standard live song. The song "To my ex-girlfriends," which has been popular on social networking sites, was shown on the screen with karaoke-style lyrics, and the audience sang along in unison.

I actually brought my boyfriend here today, can I introduce him to you?" Kolesawa sang "Cheating is not good for you. Kolesawa and Inukun stepped on the groove created by the band including Shoko Nakamura (bass) and seemed to be getting along well with each other. Toward the end of the song, however, Koresawa's jealousy intensified along with the performance. He grabbed Inuki-kun, but they managed to make up in the end. During "Last Train," a cab appeared on stage during the "Stop Taxi" scene, which was a nostalgic performance for the participants of the previous Kore-Theater. As if linked to the video, Koresawa got into the cab and left the stage.

At this point, the image is shown again on the screen with the narration. Tachiko has found "Love," and although she is happy, the hole in her heart is still not filled. She says, "On the contrary, I hurt her even though I love her, I can't trust her anymore, and I found something I don't like about myself. I just want to like myself more."--A glittering light that made you think you were really in a planetarium appeared, and Corethawa appeared with a change of costume. The sad ballad "I longed for the planetarium", "Itaiteitai" with a rapid beat, "I don't want to go home" with a different arrangement from the original, delivered with a dynamic band sound, and "No boyfriend, just tonight" with colorful penlights that lit up the audience to the colorful sound, all depicted the pain and struggles of love. The band performed numbers depicting the pain and struggles of love. Also, during "Sayonara Koibito (Goodbye, Sweetheart)," a video of Koresawa filmed with a smartphone in the style of her boyfriend's point of view will be shown. Although animation was the mainstay of the performance, this scene was the only one in which live-action footage of Kolesawa was shown, inviting a sense of sadness.

The audience sang along with the song, creating a warm atmosphere in the hall, but when she finished the song, the audience started whispering and saying, "That's disgusting. Stop it! Kolesawa covered her ears and ran away from the stage, and Reko on the screen burst into tears. Then, Reko's stuffed rabbit started to move and cuddled up to her, "Did you have a sad day? and snuggled up to her. When Reeko-chan fearfully showed him the hole, the rabbit jumped into it and said, "I will always be by your side. The music video also touched on the secret of Reko's hole, bringing the story to its core.

Reko protected Usagi from the "haze" in her heart and held her in her arms, crying and saying, "I will always be with you. Touched by her kindness, the rabbit sprouted wings and flew away, saying, "I have to go. See you later. Then they performed "Moon" against the background of the image of a rabbit heading for the moon. Kolesawa sang softly and delicately over the magnificent sound of synth drums and synth bass. As the story reached its climax, the audience was treated to "Please Santa Claus," a song that is performed only during this season. An illustration of a window frame was shown and snow was flickering outside. As the keyboard tones of Akie Shimoyama (Key) echoed solemnly, the audience was colored red and green Christmas colors by penlights.

Korezawa reflects, "This year is almost over, but what kind of year did you have in 2024?" In addition to two tours and numerous TV appearances, Kolesawa also won the Japan Record Award for Best Lyrics for her song "Kyokuteki ni kawaii no! which was presented to the "Cho toki-meki ♡ Propaganda Department," won the Best Lyrics Award at the Japan Record Award. During the talk, Kolesawa was surprised to see Santa Claus suddenly cross the street outside her window. To the members who did not believe that Santa Claus had appeared, he suggested, "If we pretend to be asleep, Santa Claus might come, so let's get ready for bed. All the members put on their night caps and turned off the lights, then footsteps were heard and presents were placed on the stage. Outside the window, we could see Santa, having completed his role, transformed into a rabbit and flew off into the night sky.

The present box contained a stuffed cat, which made Koresawa very happy. Thank you, Santa!" and played "Nyan Nyan Nyan Nyan" in gratitude. Reiko, holding a stuffed cat just like Koresawa, began to walk forward, saying, "Sometimes sad goodbyes lead to wonderful encounters," and "I am not alone, and I have decided to love you through the tough days and the happy days.

Toward the end of the show, the heat soared with the upper tune "SPARK! The heat rose sharply with the upper tune "SPARK! SSW", but Inuki-kun interrupted the performance. Inu-kun, who had cheated on his ex-girlfriend in the end, showed a love letter that Koresawa had written him in the past. The letter, which reads, "Dear sweet Inuki-kun," is so funny that the audience bursts into laughter, and Kolesawa is so embarrassed that he faints and stops the performance. Korezawa was so embarrassed that he had a stroke and stopped the performance. Then, an RPG game-like screen appeared on the screen, asking the audience, "▶Will you save Kore-chan? Do you want to save Kore-chan or not? How do you save her? The audience was asked "▶How do you save Kore-chan? The audience gave him parfaits and waved penlights, and in the end, the fans cheered loudly, bringing Koretsawa back to life. You really are a persistent dog, aren't you? I have such wonderful people in my life, so forget about me and quickly throw that letter away! Thank you for all you've done for me~," she bazooka'd and chased her ex-boyfriend away.

Koresawa says, "Thank you guys for always giving me energy and courage! My butt hurts from sitting, so why don't we stand up now?" The audience stood up in unison. Next, I'd like to give you all some happiness with this song. Will you sing and dance with me? I put my wish that everyone will continue to have a life where they can do many things they love with the people they love," he said, and then went on to the last number, "♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡". The audience was filled with happiness as pink and silver tapes danced in the air and Koretsawa even went down to the audience to sing along with the fans.

It's thanks to all of you that I've come to believe that!" and a video clip was shown as the end roll. The live painting by Shinpe Uchibori left a warm aftertaste in the hearts of the audience.

After the end roll, KORESAWA, members, and Shinpe Uchibori appeared for curtain call. He also announced that his 4th album "To You Who Chose Me and To You Who Didn't Choose Me" would be released on March 19, 2025, and that from May to August he would hold his largest capacity "KORESAWA LIVE TOUR 2025: To You Who Chose Me" tour, which would visit 18 venues throughout Japan.

The performance offered a new interpretation of Koresawa's songs by putting them in the context of a story. The story was connected to Koresawa's own life and to the lives of the fans who attended the concert. In his closing remarks, KORESAWA said, "I hope this "KORESATER" reminded everyone of something important or made them feel something. Thanks to all of you, always..." He was very moved. Thank you, everyone, really. It was a great concert," she tearfully expressed her gratitude, "I'm working hard and writing a lot of new songs, so please look forward to them.
