Wez Atlas released a new song "My Village" featuring Skaai, and a spot video is now available on YouTube. Skaai and Sagiri Sól will perform at their first one-man show in Tokyo this month.
Wez Atlas released an EP "ABOUT TIME" last year and will be holding release live shows in Tokyo and Osaka at the end of January.
As their activities gain momentum, today they surprise-released a new song, "My Village.
This album features Wez Atlas and his hometown artist Skaai.
This is the first collaboration between the two artists, who have been friends in private since they performed together at "Kid's Night Out" held at Sleepless Lion in Shibuya in July 2024.
Around the same time as the production of the EP "ABOUT TIME," Wez Atlas offered Skaai a guest appearance, and this collaboration was realized.
Produced by Kota Matsukawa from Tokyo-based collective/label w.a.u., the lyrics are impressive, crossing each other's messages as if they were exchanged, and combined with the dialogue in the music, it is a work full of a sense of speed that is truly appropriate for the start of the year 2025. The song is a perfect work for the start of the year 2025, full of a sense of speed.
In addition, as the first solo live "Wez Atlas LIVE 2025 "ABOUT TIME"" is about to take place on January 24 (Fri.) at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo, Skaai and Sagiri Sól will perform as guest artists on the day. Skaai and Sagiri Sól have been confirmed as guest artists for the event.
Skaai has performed with them at events and is also a featured artist on their new song, and is scheduled to perform at their 2-man live in Osaka. Sagiri Sól is an ally who has performed together in "(Da Da Da) Day Ones" and has performed together on stage many times. While it has already been announced that a band will be performing on the day of the event, more guest artists have also been announced, so all eyes will be on what kind of stage they will be performing on.
Tickets for the one-man live show are now on sale. For more information, please check Wez Atlas' official website and ticket sales link.
