Sundae May Club's new single "Ghost Maboroshi" will be aired on "Nobuyuki Sakuma's All Night Nippon 0(ZERO)" today. A free event will be held to celebrate the release.
Sundae May Club, a three-piece band from Nagasaki, will release their new single "Ghost Maboroshi" on July 2 (Wed). The song was recently announced along with their one-man live "Maboroshi Rock," and will be released on-air on Nippon Broadcasting System's "Nobuyuki Sakuma's All Night Nippon 0 (ZERO)" late at night today. The new song will be unveiled tonight on this popular program, which has aired Sundae May Club songs many times in the past.
The music video for "Ghost Maboroshi" will also be released on July 2 (Wed.) at 20:00 on the day of release. The video was directed by Yuichiro Fujishiro, who has been working with the Sundae May Club since he directed their music video for "Haru" (Spring). It is a spectacular interplay of two worlds in completely different places and at completely different times, intersecting with a single doorway.
And to celebrate the digital release of "Ghost Maboroshi," a free event will be held at Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya STAGE to commemorate the release.
This is a special commemorative event planned to bring the feelings behind the work and Koyuki Ura's singing voice directly to as many people as possible. The event will include a storytelling session by Koyuki Ura and a viewing of the music video.
