Musical "Fate/Zero - A Hero of Justice" opens 9/6! Open rehearsal report!
The musical "Fate/Zero: A Hero of Justice" opened on September 6.
This work is based on "Fate/Zero," a prequel to "Fate/stay night," the beginning of the "Fate" PC game series. It depicts the Fourth Holy Grail War that took place 10 years before "Fate/stay night.

Following the first part, "Fate/Zero: The Sword of Promised Victory," which was performed from January to February this year, the second part will be written and directed by Hideyuki Nishimori and lyrics written and directed by the author of the novel, Gen Urobuchi, who supervises the script. Hideyuki Nishimori writes the script, directs, and writes the lyrics.

The fourth Holy Grail War, in which seven sorcerers (Masters) summon seven Heroic Spirits (Servants) to battle for the Holy Grail, which can grant any wish. The first part of the novel depicted how Saber's promised sword of victory settled the battle with Caster at the Mienkawa River. In this work, the novel's conclusion is depicted. Who will obtain the Holy Grail? And what will be the wish that will be fulfilled?

Kiritsugu Emiya is played by Hironori Shinki. He shows his unwavering strength in his quest for the Holy Grail and his deep affection for his wife, Irisfeel von Einzbern (Yuka Yamauchi), in a poised performance. On the other hand, the film also touches on Kiritsugu's reminiscences. The sad past of his childhood and the conflicts he went through, as well as the way he defends his righteousness and challenges the Holy Grail War, will surely touch the hearts of the audience. Kiritsugu's Servant, Saber, is played by Yuka Akino. In the battle with Berserker, played by Dai Isono, who makes his debut in this film, Saber's past and conflicts are also depicted, as well as Berserker's suffering. The sad battle in which the justice of each side intersects is also a sight to behold.

Kotomine Kirei, who greatly disrupts this battle, is played by Kitazono Ryo. He is a ruthless Kirei who has no desire for the Holy Grail, perhaps due to the environment in which he was born, and his sense of loneliness, alienation, and nobility, which he cannot hide, is not only conveyed in his simple conversation, but also in the heat of the battle, making him convincing. The Servant Archer, who is summoned by Yusuke Toyama's Tokiomi Tohsaka but ends up teaming up with Kirei, is played by Haruki Oyama, who gives a wonderful performance with a unique sex appeal, glamour, and strength that comes from his mysterious atmosphere.

Weaver Velvet, played by Kuma Hiramatsu, is like sunlight filtering through the trees in this work of sorrow. He and his Servant, Rider, played by Yuji Kishi, not only engage in heated exchanges, but also engage in witty banter that makes one's cheeks curl. The friendship between the two, which develops into a master-disciple relationship, is also noteworthy.

The highlight of the production is not only the thrilling performances by the cast members, but also the ensemble's ability to mobilize all of their strengths. The production, created by the manpower of the cast, has a soul of its own. The stage also features bagpipe, cello, keyboard, and drum players. The world of "Fate/Zero" was colored with music, sometimes vigorously, sometimes sadly. Enjoy the emotional voices of the cast members as they sing.

The performance is slow and steady, with the pain and conflicts of each character carefully depicted, followed by a series of gripping battle scenes, and the ending comes quickly despite the 3.5-hour running time. The performance is three and a half hours long, but the ending comes in a blink of an eye.
