Daisho Mori looks back on "A day of YAMATO 69/25," a night that showed further growth.
On Friday, June 6, Daisho Mori's one-man live "A day of YAMATO 69/25" was held at WWW X in Shibuya. This show was a birthday live for Mori, who will celebrate his 22nd birthday on June 9, and it was the third time for him to hold a solo live at this time of the year, following 2023 and 2024. This time, we report on the performance, which marked the current state of the artist, who continues to change and evolve with each passing year and with each new experience.

One by one, the band members entered the stage as Yonsei's "Animal Arithmetic" rang out as the SE. Mori appeared on stage with full anticipation as the floor erupted in hands clapping with ardent anticipation. The cheers flew in and out of the audience. Mori, bathed in a pin spotlight, first played a solo, cutting at high speed, and then joined the band members for an intense session, showing his magnificent courage as a guitar hero. Let's make this a great night," he said coolly. The live started with the latest song "Passing Point". The song was full of the feeling of hope, resonating straight through without any pedantry. In addition to his guitar hero side, he showed himself as an imposing singer and continued with "Are you ready? Are you ready to get excited? and "Are you ready to get excited? The band members played the riff while stepping left and right together with the audience, and he also agitated the floor by raising his fist to the sky. I'm going to blow everyone away with my guitar today, and I'm going to embrace you. After the pledge of "I'm going to blow everyone away with my guitar today, and I'm going to embrace you," he exploded into his superb playing, which was very close to his metal roots, and went on to "I thank myself (for all of me). In between songs, he called out, "I see you back there, too! and during the interlude, he raised his guitar as if it were a machine gun and exploded into a frenzy of passionate playing. Typhoon no Me" was another highlight of the performance, with a more emotional sound than ever before.

After the song "Sadness no Sora no Hate", in which she sang with all her might while clutching the microphone deeply, it was time for the MC corner. Mori prefaced his speech by saying that he would soon turn 22 years old, "It's been three years since I moved to Tokyo. It's been 10 years since I started playing the guitar. I've been playing the guitar for 10 years. I am so happy to be able to play music with you all, and I think it is a miracle. I don't want to forget this warm feeling." I don't want to forget this warm feeling. He continued, "I'm still inexperienced, but I want to be able to do something for someone. She then performed "Wait for Me Tomorrow" on acoustic guitar. Next, he performed "Waiting for Tomorrow" on acoustic guitar, which overlapped with his feelings, "I am who I am today thanks to the support of many people. The band joined in at the end of the first song. The band joined in at the end of the first verse, and the audience was deeply drawn into the dynamic arrangement that gradually developed, propelled by the band sound that gently accompanied Mori's song. The band continued with "Daitokai to Ageha" from the percussive playing of an acoustic guitar body with both hands. During the interlude, each band member burst into a technical performance in turn as an introduction of the members. The dazzling smile on Mori's face as she swayed her body to the seductive Latin rhythms was unforgettable, as if filled with a sense of fulfillment and joy. Switching to electric guitar, he said, "I'm going to play a nostalgic song. and performed "Kimi no Me no Me o Mite ni Toru Toeru" (When I Look Into Your Eyes). The song and band sounded life-size yet grand, grand yet life-size. It was a wonderful performance with their unique style condensed very much.

Are you enjoying yourself?" to which the audience responded one after another. Mori said of the performance, "The theme was to have the audience enjoy the show, so I'm really happy to see your smiling faces. I'm so happy to see your smiling faces," he said. He then reiterated his own identity as a guitarist, saying, "It's the best instrument. When I play the guitar, which has been handed down from long before I was born to the present, traditional songs and the shadows of great people flicker in my mind," he said. He continues, "Isn't that very exciting? He continued, "I keep thinking about what I can do to compete with those greats and what kind of guitar playing I want to do to entertain the audience. This performance was the culmination of those days of ingenuity and trial and error at this stage. I think you will be able to enjoy the second half of the show to the fullest. We will go all out." After that pledge, the live performance began to take off.

First, the band performed "Otehtetsunayde," a song that seemed to be a high-level fusion of traditional rock and roll, one of his roots, and J-POP. The floor erupted with enthusiastic cheers for this one-of-a-kind rock act, which renewed the peak of the day's performance. As a big surprise, a cover of Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" was delivered. Mori burst into a full-bodied performance that expressed his deep respect for his predecessors, running from the top to the bottom of the stage and occasionally making spectacular turns. Don't you want to have more fun?" Next, let's do a Daisho Mori version of Johnny B. Goode! Mori then performed the fast-paced rock tune "Daijo na natsu no suteki na koi dakara (Because I'm in love for the first and last time)". An extraordinary frenzy filled the floor. The cheers kept flying in and out of the audience. I love you, guys! Mori then invited two dancers on stage, put down his guitar, and danced with them to "VS Pride Monster. Mori was so brilliant as a brilliant pop star who is more than just a guitarist and singer. The following song, "Irai" was also performed with a special arrangement featuring two dancers. With the mirror ball spinning, the audience repeatedly jumped up and down in response to Mori's call. in the choruses. It was a superb entertainment show filled with a passionate sense of unity.

At this point, the dancers left the stage. The last song of the main program was "Sword and Palette. The emotional development of the song was strongly moved by the heroic melody of the chorus, which echoed through the ceiling. During the encore, Mori played the guitar and then called out "Say! and the audience sang the melody of the phrase over and over again. It was a rich time of communication that transcended words, using only sound. Mori said, "This is the best. I put everything I wanted to say into the music, so all I can say is thank you. I want to see your smiling faces again. "I'll play guitar again to make you happy. Thank you so much. "I just want to say one last thing, thank you." He expressed his gratitude politely over and over again. Until we meet again, I wish you good health, good health, and a smile. With this prayer, the last encore song of the day was "Taisita Mondo Dayo". As the name of the song implies, it was very encouraging to see Mori earnestly conveying her warm message to each and every one of the audience members. Not just for yourself, but for someone else. It was a wonderful evening, in which such deep determination seemed to permeate the entire performance, and one could certainly feel his growth.
